Unsaid is officially carbon neutral after receiving the label certification accredited by TÜV SÜD. TÜV SÜD has been the trusted partner of choice for sustainability solutions since 1866 and is a global organisation that conducts in-depth analysis of organisations and builds management plans for future prevention and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions–specialising in testing, certification, auditing, and advisory services across industries.

This certification is based on all three scopes:

Scope 1–emissions that are direct emissions released into the atmosphere from company-owned and controlled resources.

Scope 2–indirect emissions released in the atmosphere from the generation of purchased energy from utility providers, e.g. from consumption of purchased electricity, steam, heat and cooling.

Scope 3–all indirect emissions not included in Scope 2 that occur in the value chain of the reporting company, including both upstream and downstream emissions.
